A right royal read

The Queen's Knickers by Nicholas Allan (Red Fox)
If the Queen came round for tea what knickers would she wear? It's hard to say, but you can bet she has a pair that will suit the occasion. After all, she has ones with flowers on for garden parties and ones with corgis on for relaxing at the palace. This hilarious and irreverent book with delightful pictures takes you on a royal tour of the royal smalls. You'll never look at the Queen's outfit in the same way.

One of my favorite children's books

London a city of nostalgia for many. The author M.Sasek, with his daring sense of design and his unusual use of colour, conjures up the spirit of London town in a book so vivid and inviting that readers of all ages will take refreshment in this invitation to a delightful journey.

Children's Bedroom Ideas

We love this bedroom, with antique bed's that have been re-upholstered in red linen to emphasize their curves and inject some colour into this shared children's room. Neutral fabrics from Malabar have been used to make the curtains and the blinds. The three-arm standing lamp is a re-edition Serge Mouille light. A great look but would it be practical? In our house it certainly wouldn't be that tidy.

Cold, wet and miserable outside and I'm full of a cold. Lemsip capsules or powder ooh decision's decision's. I think if I had these lovely hankies from Thornback and Peel I'd feel better much quicker.
